Connect Mailchimp
Use Mailchimp to send review requests from your Mailchimp account.
Before you start
- A Mailchimp account.
- Your Mailchimp API key. You can find this in Mailchimp under Account, Extras, API keys.
Steps
- Go to the Integrations page.
- On the Mailchimp card, select Connect.
- Choose a mode. Sync + Flow adds each guest to a Mailchimp audience and sends an event that starts your own Mailchimp automation. Transactional sends the review email directly through Mailchimp Transactional.
- Paste your API key and select Verify.
- For Sync + Flow, choose the audience to add guests to. For Transactional, enter the sender email and name.
- Select Connect.
What happens next
In Sync + Flow mode, sending a review request adds the guest to your audience and fires a review_requested event. Build a Customer Journey in Mailchimp triggered by that event to send your email. In Transactional mode, the review request sends through Mailchimp directly.
Disconnect
Open the Mailchimp card, select Manage, then Disconnect.
